After a tough start, Air Force Captain Van Blaylock held off challengers through the last turn to bring the Ducati 1198S a 4th place finish in the CMRA heavyweight twins class at Eagles Canyon Raceway. "It was a difficult weekend from start to finish. I thought we were done when we experienced a problem at the start of Practice Two that caused us to miss Practice Three, but we managed to get it back together in time for the race. Today was about completing the mission, and we did that in a way that we can be proud of," Blaylock said after the race. Ducati Oklahoma's Ryan Tupps said "This weekend was a difficult one from the beginning, from making adjustments as it's time to leave the pits to missing sessions due to mechanical issues. But I'm very proud of Van's fight and ending in the position we did. Even when you don’t have the pace for a win, you have to show what you’re made of. We did that today".
