Interview with Piero Ferrari-Forza Magazine 10-09

I read something interesting tonight that I had never 'known'. In an interview with the son of Enzo Ferrari, Pierro, he claimed that he has a private firm of 25 engineers, and further, that "I had to design the Desmo 16 MotoGP engine. This was done by a couple of my engineers".

I would love to hear what forum members think about that and I would also like to know if you are aware that Ducati has ever disclosed this as he stated it.

Ducati and ferrari have long had a relationship like this. There have been a number of times that Ferrari have pitched in to help with certain engineering projects... hell, quite a bit of Ducati's electronics have come with Ferrari's blessing.
